Welcome to Trading Tools. We have compiled a wide range of tools and articles to make your trading career easier and safer.

While 99% of all trades go exceptionally well, there is the occasional bad apple that will need to be dealt with. Should you ever run into a bad trader in your dealings, there are some steps you will want to take to make sure they do not get away with it.

Generally priority mail takes 2-3 days. First Class takes up to a week. If you have not gotten your game, and it has been about 1 week after the expected delivery date, you should begin to escalate the pressure. If you are trading with a user from Canada, you should wait about 3 weeks after the shipping date. Normal Air Mail from Canada takes 7-14 days.

Here are some useful tips:

  1. Contact the individual. Try messaging at TGN. If there is no response and yet he/she is logging on, email them through their contact information email address. If you still get no response, attempt to call them at home. Calling their home and talking to parents can get you your items back real quickly. If the phone number is incorrect, you can look it up based on their mailing address at WhitePages.com.

However, remember that the parents may not know about this. Be courteous and respectful when explaining your problem to them. It goes a long way to getting their help in resolving the problem.

  2. About 10-14 days after the expected delivery, leave a NEGATIVE feedback. Sometimes this gets their attention and may resolve the issue. It also warns other users that this person may be a ripper. The longer you wait to leave feedback, the more people he may have ripped off. You can always change negative feedback if the trade is resolved.

  3. Contact TGN Administrators. Tell us your problem in detail and we can look into it and offer our advice, and in some instances help get your game back. However, we cannot guarantee that we can get your game back.

  4. If the above tips have not helped to resolve the issue you can file mail fraud. You can file it through the USPS website. If none of the above got their attention, this certainly will.

  5. You can also contact their local police and file a complaint via the USA Cops website where you can find contact information for Police stations throughout the US.

Remember, it is better to be safe than sorry, but do not jump the gun when dealing with another user. Things do happen in life, like a death in the family, their internet is down, vacation, etc., so give the user a little time to respond. Feel free to ask the TGN Administrators to take a look into it. We can see if the user is doing this to other users as well.
